The Booster Club meets most months during the school year to plan events in support of the choirs. Current dates and available information is included below.

Lamar Choir Booster Club Meeting Schedule for Fall semester (‘26-’27 School Year) are coming soon

$10 (buys a meal for a kid on rehearsal or concert day)
$75 (Covers Accompanist, clinician or mentor fees for a choir)
$25 (Covers cost of choir t-shirt for a student in need)
$100 (Covers transportation for field trip such as UIL sight reading & evaluation)
$50 (Covers cost for a student in need to go on a field trip)
$250 (Covers refreshments and other costs associated with our “that’s a wrap party)

Every year, the booster club helps support our choir students by volunteering labor and contributing money. To continue to support the choir in all the ways that we would like, we need to raise funds for choir efforts. Some of the things that the booster club spends money on each year are:

  • Providing scholarships for private lessons or field trips

  • Paying accompanists.

  • Replacing equipment as needed.

  • Paying licensing fees for music.

  • Buying food to feed singers on rehearsal and performance days.

  • Paying for fun events to celebrate our singers’ hard work.
